Abuse can happen to anyone of any age, race, social status, gender, class religion, occupation, education or sexual orientation. MCRHC’s Assault Response Team (A.R.T.) was formed in 2021 by a group of like-minded individuals who want to make a difference for victims of assault, abuse and human trafficking. We work with crisis intervention services and, if needed, law enforcement, to provide optimal care.
Our forensic nurses are trained specifically to care for assault victims, maintaining compassion and confidentiality.
You can reach the A.R.T. team directly by calling 641-732-6096 or by email at MCRHC.ART@mercyhealth.com. If you or anyone you know has been assaulted and needs help, please report to the MCRHC Emergency Room in Osage and request a forensic nurse. Exams may be free of charge through the Crime Victim Compensation Program in Iowa.
